Meet Michal

I am a licensed clinical social worker and certified coach who helps parents navigate uncertainty with confidence and warmth. My approach blends evidence-based strategies with practical, down-to-earth guidance you can use right away.

I worked for many years as a child and teen therapist, always involving families and caregivers when possible, before pivoting to working directly with parents. I see my role as helping parents and caregivers learn the tools and strategies that will help them be their best selves. I find what is working well within a family system and help parents and caregivers learn strategies to amplify those factors while minimizing the things that are not serving them. I help families come up with a vision of what they would like their family system to look like, and then help set small, manageable goals to achieve that vision.

  • Years of experience working with children, teens, and families
  • Gentle, practical strategies you can use immediately
  • When you feel safe and confident, you can pass that on to your children
  • Online and in-home options

How I can help

A gentle, practical approach

We start by understanding your family’s reality and establishing immediate calming routines for you and your child.

Answer with Confidence

Learn language that meets children where they are—clear, honest, and developmentally sensitive.

Build Ongoing Safety

Create habits and rituals that nurture connection and resilience over time.

I let clients lead in terms of telling me what they need to focus on, and I incorporate aspects of different therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, positive parenting strategies, motivational interviewing, positive psychology, solution focused therapy, and appreciative inquiry.
